ALARA lab S.A. provides liquefied petroleum gas quality control (LPG) in
refineries, overseas tank ships and land based facilities, storage tanks, bulk
stowed truck downloading and gas cylinders. Our skilled staff that counts with
wide field experience and who follows the ALARA lab S.A. laboratory criteria,
assists our clients with tests, analysis, and the determination to trace levels.
Quality control during production custody transference, storage, loading and
downloading, as well as to the end user. We follow specific techniques for the
quality control of propellant used in aerosol sprays.

We make analysis of petroleum products. Our commitment is to provide analytical support to oil producing companies, in process of implementation, scientific planning, regulations, especially to ensure the much needed link between the product and the company. Accurate and Continuous Sampling
"A Laboratory analysis, it does not matter how accurate may be, it can never be more exact than the sample under examination..."
In many cases, the laboratory tests cannot be made
at the site where samples are being taken. Therefore,
safe methods of obtaining samples are required to
ensure their representation and allow their transport
to the laboratory for analysis.
Our laboratory has the
experience, the right criteria and the latest technology to
carry out various analysis, such as:
Analysis of natural gas, LNG, LPG, liquid fuels, Fuel Oil,
L.P.G., Gas Oil, Gasoline, air quality analysis, Analysis
of Biofuels (Biodiesel, Biogas) for the control of the final
product or the different stages of the production process
in order to optimize it.
If your company counts with adequately trained personnel
to carry out a correct sampling, we shall receive the
samples for the required analysis. If you do not count
with it, we have a team of specialists who can do the
sampling.
We do continuous sampling with high-precision state-
of-the-art technology equipment to ensure reliability for
an homogeneous and representative sample, opening
the possibility for a proportional operation to the product
flowing in a system or time setting.
Biofuels
The production of biogas has become a very attractive
renewable source of energy in the whole world. Currently
there are several projects and equipment that make
possible the optimization in the generation of "Clean
Energy" that require low maintenance cost, help with
hygiene and yield organic fertilizers. These sorts of
development are usually for poorer areas and where
conventional type of energy is hard to reach. The use
of biofuels in the rural areas of Argentina has become
very important and profitable, especially in places such
as cattle and pig feedlots, dairy farm facilities, meat
processing plants and poultry plants as well.
The possibility of self- supplying energy or stop
using a good amount of non-renewable of energy
can be summarized in the following list below:
- Power generation for illumination, power engines in warehouses among others.
- Heating systems in breeding farms by employing the co-generation of power.
- Heating in rural homes and kitchens.
- Food distribution in poultry farms, pig and cattle feedlots.
- Compost Organic fertilizer.
- Methane gas reduction in the environment.
- Clean transportation.
From the environmental standpoint, the biodigestor
system will allow to avoid the contamination of the
underground water source and reduce emissions during
farming in rural areas.
Biomass: is a neuter carbon because the carbon dioxide
that emits when it is burned is an equal amount of what
was taken from the atmosphere while the plant was
growing, this can be seen in wood, crops or its wastes,
the trash produced by trees in the urban areas that is
burned to get turbines to rotate to generate power. It can
never be considered as biomass solid wastes, pathogen
hospital wastes, poisonous, toxic and dangerous wastes
such as tire burning.
Biogás: It is the methane gas that can be obtained from
these wastes by means of a gas generator or a digestor.
Also can be collected the animal waste and be burned to
generate power. By employing this type of fuel reduces
greatly the use of fossil fuels and the environmental
pollution. Unfortunately, most of the farm waste is burned
in the open air resulting in the pollution of land and water
sources..
